Up to the top of the Mountain

When we were visiting Pamela last time, we went up the gondola in Banff. This time we went up in Lake Louise. This is the mountain where Pamela has spent most of her time during her winters in Lake Louise.

Most of the snow is now melted.

Logan and Pamela

Waiting to watch a short video before going up the mountain. Apparently, this is where you drink beer after a day skiing/snowboarding!

Mom, Pamela and Logan getting ready to watch the video.

A very serious Logan as we climbed up the mountain.

Feeling a bit more comfortable. (He held onto that ticket almost the whole time).

On our way up!

A cute picture of Logan and Aunt Pamela.

The spectacular view from the top.

My attempt at getting a shot of Logan.

You can see the Chateau Lake Louise in this shot.

Walking down a big hill to see some information about the wildlife in the area. (I didn't take any pictures coming back up because we were all exhausted from the walk...it was a HUGE hill!)

Making friends with the wooden animals.

We rode up in a closed gondola. You had the option of riding on one of these open chairs too...we thought it would be smarter to be enclosed. Any guesses as to why?
