Flashback Friday: Last Day of School 2016

I can't believe the year went by so quickly!

Jacob did great in his first year of French Immersion. On to grade 2!

Grade 3 was a great year for Logan. He really enjoyed his teacher and she was a good match for him to really start improving. On to grade 4!

A local radio station broadcast their morning show live from the school on the last day. It was an exciting morning and a Canada Day assembly started the day.

It looked really neat with all the flags.

Nostalgia Days

We headed to Norwich to take in the Nostalgia Days Festival. Lots of games and activities for the kids and the weather even cooperated for most of the day.
Participating in a pirate show.

Learning swordplay!
In the audience with grandma and grandpa.
The firefighters put together a little course for kids to try out some techniques.

I'm surprised she could stand up with the helmet on her head!

They had to carry a hose on their shoulder...
And then drag a tire...

And finally shoot the hose at a target!
 Logan's turn!

Flashback Friday: Christmas 2015

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at home, in Waterloo, just the 5 of us. It was quiet, calm and just right.
At the Christmas Eve service.

Looking for Santa.
Kind of fun that we have a mantle to hang stockings on now!
Santa brought a LeapPad!
Everyone is excited about it.

Gamers.
Opening the box from Aunt Pamela!

Flashback Friday: Christmas 2015 with the Dolsons

(Since I fell behind in blogging, I want to catch up so the memories are recorded somewhere....)

In early December, we went to my Grandma's in London to celebrate Christmas with our extended Dolson family
All dressed up.
With Mommy too!
Cousin Andrew put on a concert for the residents of the retirement community.
Some of his fans.
Logan sang too!
More of the peanut gallery.
Jamie and Peyton.
Peyton napped, in the corner on the floor. Amazing!
Family photo time!
See Pamela on the iPad?
Grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Grandma and her great grandkids.
Yeah. They were done. :)
With her sons.
