Water Table Fun

We got the water table out last weekend. I'll let the pictures tell the story.

I was thinking this would be our last summer using it as Norah will be three next year but even the boys really enjoyed it when we used it. So maybe we won't get rid of it after all...

Friday Phone Photos

I finally made Norah drop her sleep sac this week. Now, most mornings, I find
her like this or with her sleeper completely off!
A nice spot to read.
A few selfies of the kids and I before church at my grandma's last weekend.

This was on the way home from London. She so rarely falls asleep in the van!
Jacob was tired too.
I put the sour cream on the table for supper one night, went back to the kitchen,
and then found Norah like this, putting sour cream at everyone's spot...
A Starbucks break!

Attempting to drown some tent caterpillars who were nesting in our tree.
Pretty girl in pink.
Norah pushing Jacob around the block.
Enjoying a lazy morning on the couch.
Watching TV from the laundry basket.
Jacob too!
Today was a PD Day so I tried to take the kids to a splash pad. It was supposed to be open but I guess it wasn't working today. They played at the playground instead but the boys were pretty bummed so we went to Swiss Chalet for lunch!
Logan ordered salad with his chicken, he told me he wanted to make a healthy choice!
Double fisting!
He loves chicken and french fries!

More Gardening

We've been busy trying to get everything planted now that the weather is finally nice!

My mom bought this sunflower kit for the kids. Hopefully it will allow the sunflowers to get big enough without the animals eating the before we put them in the ground.

Pouring water in to make the discs grow.
Jacob too!
Putting the seeds in!
It makes it's own little greenhouse.
(It's been a week since we did this and the plants are already growing well!)
For our vegetable garden.
They got tired of waiting for the ground to be ready.
Putting netting on the side of the shed for the vines to climb.
(And another peek at the shed!)
Finally it's time!
Getting them all in the ground.
We planted beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, green peppers, watermelon (not sure about this one yet!) and a few herbs. We also got a hanging strawberry plant and have our rhubarb and raspberries already. Hopefully we get a good crop!

First Outdoor Meal!

The weather on the long weekend was nice enough that we were able to eat outside for the first time! Other than Norah not sitting still, it was a success!

The best picture of the three of them, haha.
Scott had spent the whole day working on the shed.
A well deserved meal for him!
I think he lost something through the fence..
Finishing off my drink. :)
:)
I need to find myself some sort of serving tray/platter to get all the stuff to the backyard before we do it again!
