On Saturday we headed to Norwich to have our Thanksgiving dinner with my parents, brother and grandma. This was Logan's first Thanksgiving and since he's a full fledged eater now, he enjoyed it to the fullest!
Logan's Uncle Scott is attending the University of Windsor now so he brought Logan's birthday present this weekend since he won't be around during the festivities next week. He bought Logan a basketball net. At first the bag that it came in seemed to be the big hit but once the net was out and the other boys (grandpa, daddy and Uncle Scott) were playing with Logan enjoyed it too. You'll be happy to know Uncle Scott that Logan has continued to enjoy it since we got home.

Since the weather was so nice we spent some time in the front yard. Logan enjoyed crawling around grandma and grandpa's big yard.
On Sunday we went to the Rockton Fair. I used to attend the Rockton Fair every year to show my sheep and Scott and I went back last year so we thought we'd take Logan this year. You'll all be happy to know that we first looked in on the birds...all the chickens and roosters and ducks. Logan was a bit overwhelmed by all the clucking and squawking so (thankfully) we didn't stay in there long.
Sunday was "Goat Day" so we were able to see lots of goats. Logan warmed up to the goats a lot more quickly than the birds. We walked through the goat barn so Logan could see all the goats, he even got to pet a few.

We spent some time walking around looking at all the exhibits and had some lunch. Then we headed to the midway to see if there was a ride suitable for Logan to have his first carnival ride. There was...the carosel and the big slide. He loved the carosel (especially when it wasn't moving) but I think the slide went a bit fast for him; the speed even surprised Scott!
There's only a picture of them at the top because they were coming so fast on the way down! I missed them!
After the midway, we went to the grandstands and watched some of the carriage derby. It took a long time to set it up so by the time it started, Logan was pretty restless. We watched a few of the teams before heading out. Once the music started and the horses were running the track, Logan perked up and clapped to cheer them on.
