A Trip to Grandma and Grandpa's

Scott had a little bit of work to do at my parent's place, Norwich was celebrating it's bicentennial anniversary and we had a party to attend that we didn't want to take the kids to so we headed to Norwich for the night last weekend.

On Friday afternoon we tried out the pool!

Jacob's so cute with his head lying down.

Just a kid at heart. :)

Jacob and Grandma.

I had to laugh at how white their bodies look against the water.

Logan stealing some blackberries from Grandma's bush.

Friday evening, I put Jacob to bed and then Scott and I headed to Selkirk to celebrate our friend Aaron's 30th birthday and ordination as a United Church minister. It was nice to get out together and catch up with some friends. The kids did great. Thanks for watching them, mom and dad.

On Saturday morning, mom was helping out with the Fishing Derby so Logan and I headed out to meet up with her while Jacob took a much needed nap.

Hanging out on the fire truck.

This step made a perfect seat for him.

Eating a big freezie!

A boy and a feather.

We met up with Scott and Jacob and headed to the Norwich Museum to check out what was going on there.

1/3 of the petting zoo...there was 1 cow, 1 sheep and 1 angry looking turkey.

There were A LOT of tractors...

Logan riding a big green one!

Maybe this is Jacob's 2nd life?

Checking out an old train car.

Since the museum was not overwhelmingly exciting; Jacob entertained himself with his toes!

Trying out yet another tractor.

Despite the fact that Jacob was awake a lot of the night when we were away, we had a great time! We'll be back to use the pool soon!
