Logan and the Giant Pickle

So we went out for dinner on Friday and Scott's meal came with a giant dill pickle. We gave it to Logan as a joke and he actually bit down and ate it. He wasn't sure about the taste at first but kept going back for more. Here's a picture,

Since Logan is now more mobile, we finally got around to purchasing a couple gates for the house and put one up this weekend. It's pretty neat as it can be pulled out from the wall when needed and then just coils up against the wall when not in use. We needed something like this because we need to ensure that the cats don't have to be jumping over the gates. This way we can just pull it out when Logan is upstairs.

Sigmund isn't too sure about it and always wants to be on the opposite side from where she is when it's across...she should get used to it eventually.

How do you work this thing, dad?

I just realized I don't have any pictures of the finished product, I'll try and take some tomorrow so you can all see what it looks like.

In other news, we interviewed a couple home daycare providers today as I'll be returning to work in October. We have a couple more appointments set up for this week as well and hopefully we'll be able to choose someone by the end of the week so that we'll be able to take some time to get Logan (and mommy) used to the new arrangements. Thankfully, my mom will be able to watch Logan one day a week and Scott will still be home from work early on Fridays, this will allow him to be home, in his own surroundings a little more often. This is a huge change and will be a big transition for all of us, we'd love if you could pray for a smooth transition for us, especially Logan.

I love the light bulb on his shirt while he is being such a smart GUY and reading the directions! hahaha
