As you well know, we like to walk a path near our house where there is a small pond with ducks. We take cracked corn to feed them, because feeding them bread is very unhealthy for them! In the spring, we had a hard time getting the ducks to come to eat the food. I'm sure they came after we left but they rarely swam over.
But ever since the babies were born there have been SO many ducks. It's insane. Some days, we don't even get down to the water, they just come up to the path. The other night, Scott was working late so I took the kids over after supper. Please note that for someone terrified of birds, this is not a good scene! The kids love it though and are not scared in the least (even when the ducks nip their feet!)
