Camping

At the end of July, my mom and I took the kids camping at Laurel Creek Conservation Area. It was super close to home so Scott was able to come by in the evenings to join us.

We had a broken tent pole, a leaking tent, more rain than we were hoping for and some cranky kids once and a while but we did ok.

Visiting Norwich

The summer usually brings a few extra trips to Norwich to use the pool and air conditioning! This year there is a new splash pad in town so we decided to check it out too!

The Optimist group in Norwich did some serious fundraising to be able to add the pad to the community.

Sprinkler Fun

August hasn't been very warm but July was HOT so we pulled the sprinkler out on many occasions. It was Norah's first experience and she loved it!

Last Day of School

With the first day of school just around the corner, I better get these pictures up!

I took a few pictures of Logan on his last day of school. His year of SK really seemed to fly by. He certainly changed a lot and learned so much.

Notice that he now wants to be a police officer.

Cooling Off

Scott took the boys mini golfing last weekend. Neither boy had ever played before but did ok. They didn't keep score but had fun!

Logan Goes to the Jays Game

Last month, Scott, his dad and Logan took a trip to see the Blue Jays play. The Jays lost but Logan had fun spending the day with daddy and Grandpa and learning about baseball.
