Beach Day!

On Sunday, we spent a good part of the day at the Turkey Point Beach! We had planned to go the night before but when we got up on Sunday, the weather was dark and rainy. I texted my mom (who was going to come with us) and she said it was also raining at her place, so we canceled. :(

But then it started clearing, so we decided to just go! As soon as we got to Norwich to pick mom up, it was raining again and we drove though some heavy rain and very dark clouds on the way there. BUT, then it cleared! The beach was almost empty when we got there and the weather just got warmer and clearer. There was a bit of a breeze which created some waves too!

More Birthday Celebrations

Norah's birthday was a weekday and we had Logan's soccer game to get to after supper, so it was a pretty normal day, just with a few extra things!

Norah's friend Rosalyn, her mom and brother visited us in the morning. Rosalyn will turn 2 this week. We played at home and then went out for lunch together.

We got to spend some time with Heidi on the long weekend. She brought over little seed kits for the kids one day and they spent some time after supper getting them started.

Cooling Off

Logan's Year End Picnic

Last week, I was lucky enough to go with Logan to a park near his school for the Kindergarten Picnic. My mom came over and watched Norah and Jacob and I spent the afternoon with Logan.

Logan got to pick his own group and then we walked together to a nearby park to join all the kindergarten kids from his school. There were lots of different activities at the park for them and the Tumblebus was also there. The kids were assigned a group to go on the bus but other than that they were able to roam freely through the park.

Inside there were monkey bars, a ball pit, a slide, a trampoline, a rock wall and tumbling mats.

Logan has talked about playing with most of the kids in his class this year but he mostly talks about Osman. Every day, Osman is included in his stories. They attended each other's birthday parties this year and we had Osman here over March Break for a playdate. Both boys are switching to French Immersion for grade 1, so they should be in the same class again!
