Enjoying Juice

(I'm in Norwich for a few days and found these pics on mom's computer since I haven't taken any here yet...I should get on that!

These were taken at the lunch after the Easter Egg hunt this year. The meal was right up the boy's alley - hot dogs and apple juice!

Morning Time

The kids are usually awake between 6:30 and 7:30am with Logan up the earliest and Jacob sleeping sometimes until 7:30am. They spend quite a while just hanging out on the couch, zoned out watching TV.

Asparagus

Jacob isn't much of a veggie lover so I was pretty shocked the other night when he thoroughly enjoyed his asparagus and then asked for more. Maybe he liked it because it was locally grown!

Ducks

3 ducks flew into our front window last week...2 flew away right away and one (the female in the picture) didn't. Eventually the male came back for her and they walked away. I suspect she was injured when she flew into the window.

It was my mom's birthday last week and since I'm behind in posting, these pictures are from when she was here for dinner.

Bowling

We took a trip to the bowling lanes again. We try to go every once and a while as Logan loves to go and practice. He'll be starting in his own bowling league in September; I'm not sure who is more excited - Scott or Logan.

This time when we went bowling, Jacob actually wanted to try too. He walked right up to the line and got his ball rolling as well as he could. They had a blast!

Trying Something New

So since my posts have been sparse lately, I'm going to try something new. Rather than making big long posts with lots of pictures about what we've been doing; I'm going to try and post one picture every day.

If something exciting is happening, I'll try and post extra pictures but there are no promises. Maybe I'll try and do recipes again and other things that I find useful...we'll see.

But if I can get at least one picture per day...you might all be happy (and so will I)!

Those Rainy Days

Since it has rained SO much lately, we've been stuck inside a lot. There were times when the rain stopped but it was still SO wet outside. I sent the kids out anyways to play in the puddles. They usually didn't last long out there but it was enough to at least get them out!

The puddles on the driveway and sidewalks seem to disappear pretty quickly but the patio along the side of our house has a pretty big dip in it so the water sits around for a long time.

On Easter Sunday (yes I'm THAT far behind!) we went to New Hamburg and celebrated with the Millers!
