Navy Club Kid's Christmas Party

(*Warning* There are A LOT of pictures with this post)

On Sunday we headed to the annual Christmas party put on by the Naval Association in Waterloo of which Scott's dad is a member. The party used to be held for the member's children but now it's mostly the grandchildren of the members who attend. There was a great crowd out yesterday!

Eric Traplin (a local children's entertainer) started off the party. Logan and Joel had a great time dancing away and enjoying the music. Jacob, however wasn't really into it and wouldn't leave our sides.

Here they are dancing away.

Dancing with grandma.

The best picture I got of them together, haha.

:)

Grandma is looking for a dance partner...Logan's not very interested.

Logan's obsessed with putting his hands in his pockets.

Playing the tambourine in one of the songs.

Checking out Joel's moves.

Jacob only wanted to take part when the bubbles were out!

Everyone loves the bubbles.

Not a very happy guy.

Since he wasn't enjoying the music, I think he got pretty bored.

Ok mom, that's enough pictures!

Closer to the end of the music, he was ok to be at the back with Grandma.

NOW he's a happy guy; hotdogs, french fries and ketchup!

This guy was hungry from all the dancing he did.

Scott was there too!

I think someone else was using my camera...here's Logan's apple juice!

After lunch, Santa arrived. Each child gets a gift and a chance to sit with Santa. We had seen Santa the day before at another event and Jacob wasn't really interested in Santa, so I didn't know how it would go.

Hi Santa!

Joel was up first.

Then Jacob! I'm so disappointed that this one is blurry. :( He was very happy to sit with Santa.

He's not looking, but at least it's clear!

Logan too!

Checking out what's under the paper...

Under Logan's close supervision.

It's an airplane!

And a ViewMaster projector for Logan!

The boys are both so cute - glad they are willing to visit with Satna, although I am not sure I have ever met a 4 year old who doesn't know what he wants to ask Santa for. :-)
