We decided to try our hand at growing some vegetables again this year. Last year a rabbit ate most of what we planted. :( Instead of planting seeds, this year we used bigger plants, hoping the animals would not bother them.

(An animal dug these up and ate the seeds out of the shells. Luckily, grandma had some bigger ones in pots that she gave us. They are in the ground now, hopefully they make it!) |

| We planted cucumbers, beans, tomatoes and green peppers. I wanted to get some lettuce too, but that hasn't happened yet. |
Things are growing and getting bigger! The kids are excited most days to go out back and see how it is all doing!
