On Tuesday we headed out to Waterloo Park in the morning to cool off at the Lions Lagoon splash park. It's not my favourite since it costs money to get in ($2.50 per person!) but I wasn't sure if the other ones were operating yet. Plus, if the kids got tired of the water, there was the playground and the animals to visit.
Logan was much more adventurous this year than last year. He took off running and didn't stop until it was time to go.
Even though the air was warm, the water was SO cold. Logan doesn't seem to regulate his body temperature very well and gets cold quickly so he walked around like this for the second half of our time there insisting that he WAS NOT cold at all.
Taking a drink...
Jacob took a long time to warm up to the fun but he eventually did and follow his big brother around like a shadow.
Filling up the pails...
This one was just dripping water out slowly but Logan stood there until his pail was full.
Jacob running through the watery mist.

Once Logan was very cold, we dried off and headed over to the playground in the sun to warm up. It was pretty busy so we didn't stay long and headed over to the shade for a picnic lunch.
