Is Spring Really Here?

Despite the fact that there is snow in the forecast, it was a beautiful weekend. We got the outdoor toys out and worked around the yard. We also took a trip to see if the ducks were back in their nearby home.
There was only one pair who quickly swam away as the boys approached.
They threw food for them anyways.
Have to keep a tight grip on Norah near the water.
The park at Kidsability has been under lots of snow until very recently so this was our first visit in quite some time.

Yes, Scott, you are so strong.

Norah loves the mobility she has now!
Checking out what's down below.
Silly guys.

Oh Norah...

Norah is busy, very busy. She's curious and always on the go. It's good...but exhausting.

Peeking over the table at the bowling alley.
(We only take her to the lanes when the boys bowl if we ABSOLUTELY have to. It's much easier if one of us just stays at home with her).
The iPad. She loves it. If we leave it within reach, she finds it.
Here she is playing Candy Crush with her baby...
Hanging out in the kitchen.
She likes to take her snack and eat it by the patio door.
Yes, her shirt is wet in all the pictures. She drools constantly. Part of it seems to bethat she doesn't ever close her mouth, which may be because she has weak oral motor muscles (like Jacob),or just could just be drooly...it's too early to tell. She goes through a lot of shirts though!

Another Tooth Gone

Logan lost another tooth over the weekend. He is now sporting quite a large hole in the top of his mouth! Yes, the tooth fairy did visit, both times.

Sunny Sunday

This morning when we were heading out the door to church Jacob said "It's sunny today because it's SUNday!" It's so nice to see the sun.

Dapper (and squinty) Jacob.

Handsome Logan.

Norah tries out the hat.

Finally getting a chance to wear short sleeves!
Tried to get one of all three of them...take your pick!

With Daddy.

She loves having a bag to take to church.
My mom and dad came to church today to see Logan sign in the choir. Norah even let Grandpa read her a book!

Pink Eye!

We had another first this week, Jacob had pink eye! This is the best picture I could get of the poor guy. He actually had it in both eyes. He also had fluid in both his ears and a nasty cough. He spent half of Monday and all day Tuesday and Wednesday at home with me. He's been on anti biotics for his eyes since Tuesday and so far, no one else has gotten it....keep your fingers crossed!

Logan Lost Another Tooth

Logan's front, top two teeth have been wiggly for quite a while now and last night when I was out at a meeting, Scott sent me a picture of him without one of them! Apparently it was really lose when Scott was brushing Logan's teeth so he just pulled it out! The other one is still hanging in there but is also quite wiggly, it's going to be a bit hole once they are both gone!

He was up at 5am today checking to see if the tooth fairy came...

Hat Day

On the last Friday of every month, the boys have spirit day at their school. Sometimes they just wear their "house colour" (all the students are divided into 4 colour teams, Logan and Jacob are both green) but other times there's a theme. This month it was hat day!

The pictures are pretty candid but you get the point!
Norah wanted in on the hat action too.
I love Jacob's face in this one.
Trying to get just the two of them....unsuccessful.
At their school, they also focus on a character building trait each month. The school mascot is a Star so they work on "shining bright". The character traits all start with the letters of the word BRIGHT. The teachers introduce the trait at the beginning of the month and kids who exhibit the trait are rewarded by being recognized at the spirit assembly at the end of the month.

This month, the focus was on RESPONSIBILITY and Logan was recognized for being responsible. He couldn't remember what he did to earn the recognition but he did get a bracelet which he is very proud of!
