First Bath at Home

I took these pictures during Norah's first week at home but I wanted to make sure they made it onto the blog. The boys were excited to help us give Norah a bath....we had to use the kitchen counter so that there was space for everyone to watch and help!

Little girl in a big tub.
Jacob's probably trying to splash water on her here...
Logan was the official towel holder.
She didn't even cry!
Jacob watched intently for the entire bath.

Visiting with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa

Scott's grandparents came to visit and meet Norah last weekend. While I didn't take a lot of pictures, we had a great visit. Grandma got to hold Norah lots and they both got to watch the boys play in the pool in the backyard!

First Swim of the Year!

The weekend before Norah was born we headed to Norwich to spend the day enjoying mom and dad's air conditioning, pool and cooking abilities! the water was a bit cool but the boys had lots of fun splashing around until they were shivering!

Even Grandpa got in the water!
Logan is getting more and more confident in the water now!
Even with his floaty thing on and holding onto a noodle, Jacob preferred for
Scott to hold onto him. Hopefully a few more trips and he'll be confident to float around
on his own too!
If Scott ever gets his work van, hopefully the kids and I will be able to make many trips to Norwich this summer to use the pool!

Sibling Love

These pictures were taken the day after Norah was born. The boys were both (and still are) very eager to hold her and especially to pose for the camera.

Jacob joins the paparazzi.
All smiles.
I love this picture!
Checking out his new baby sister.
Then we tried to get a shot of all three of them...
Haha
Silly kids.
At least they look happy.

Mommy's Helper

Jacob got a cleaning set for his birthday or Christmas last year and recently he's really started using it. He especially likes to sweep up the cat food and wash the windows. Whenever he hears me get the broom out, he comes running with his own broom and dustpan to help.

These cats sure make a mess!
Sweeping up the mess.
He actually does a pretty good job!
Getting ready to clean the window.
He actually pretends to squeeze the bottle and the rubs the sponge around!
I doubt he'll be this keen when I actually could use his help!

Just a few Pictures....

I'm trying to get caught up, posting the pictures from the last week but it's taking some time...something which I don't seem to have much of anymore!

Jacob strapping Norah into her chair and Logan assuming the supervision role.
Norah with a bear that she received.
A beautiful flower arrangement that we received from my dad's boss.
Norah snoozing on the couch and catching some rays!

Washing the Van

The boys and Scott washed the van a couple weeks ago. I'm not sure how clean it really got but they had a lot of fun!

I think Jacob had the most fun just dipping his sponge in the pail!

Logan pretty much just "cleaned" the same spot over and over again!

Norah's First Walk

On Wednesday we took Norah out on her first walk. It was short, we didn't go far but the fresh air was nice for everyone!

I think she likes it outside!

Of course the big brothers came along too!

Norah Christine

On Tuesday, June 12 at 5:25pm we welcome Norah Christine into our family.

7lbs 9oz
20.25in

I'm having a hard time finding time to get on and do a good post but here are some pictures from our time spent in the hospital.

Last belly shot. 40w4d Walking around the hospital trying to get things moving.
Welcome baby!
Just born.
She's a heavyweight! The biggest of all 3 of our kids.
They had a nice pink hat for her but she seems to have followed suit after her brothers and her head was too big for it.
So white it is.
Getting checked out before her fist bath.
Bathtime!
Not so happy anymore.
All clean and ready for a feed.
What a sweet face.
The big brothers meet their little sister.
Jacob just wants to play on the fun bed.
He's so proud. :)
This one is dark but at least he looks happy!
